Ever since I graduated from #culinaryschool I have been developing recipes for #diabetic people since mamma is diabetic. She chooses not to take medicines and controls her blood sugar solely with what she puts on her plate according to the guidelines provided by the Canadian diabetes association (diabetes Canada). Back when we were in #Canada, she had a wide range of options for diabetic friendly #chocolate and the likes, but the situation was not the same when we moved back to #Karachi. It became my life mission to develop desserts and chocolates for her and for many others like her. I worked on numerous recipes and sold them to amazing individual who had a sweet tooth but were unable to enjoy #dessert because of #healthconcerns or #allergies.
Here is one such recipe that I had developed a while ago. It happens to be a favourite amongst many of my clients due to the rich texture.
Ingredients
Method
In a #doubleboiler, melt chocolate
make sure you stir it often
when the chocolate looks shiny and melted add in evaporated milk along with sweetener. Stir till everything combines
Now add butter and vanilla and till it dissolves and makes the chocolate even shinier
line your pan with parchment paper or spray with a non stick spray.
Pour the fudge batter and sprinkle walnuts on top, you can stir it in while the mixture is on the stove also, its a personal choice.
Let it sit on the counter till it comes to room temp and then in the fridge it goes to set.
DEVOUR!
See! how simple this was? I literally had to think hard to make the method longer (Teehee)
Tell me how this turns out! <3
