Hello world! After numerous attempts at making this website/blog it is finally complete.

My name is Hania M Baweja, Born in Pakistan, raised in Canada and Pakistan. Accidentally studied culinary management and became a chef. I currently live in Karachi and absolutely love being here.

I like to cherish the small things in life, old music (actually I like everything old school), and a good read.

Tales of taste is all about mini stories we associate with food and meals eaten alone or with family or in times of festivities. Taste reminds us of belonging and love. Here you will find recipes and stories about food that I love and develop.

It is also an attempt to mapping South Asian food roots, dishes that are intrinsically South Asian and the ones we so lovingly embraced.
